Born in Ağrı, dentist Yonca Tokağ graduated from Ağrı Anatolian High School. She successfully completed her education at Kocaeli University Faculty of Dentistry. From the early years of her dental studies, she undertook internships at various clinics and hospitals. She has received numerous special trainings in posterior aesthetic restorations, modern endodontics, and periodontology.
